Massi (Sam Raaijmakers) paints his world with music, blending rap, singing, and songwriting to tell deeply personal stories. Growing up as a black child in a white family and navigating a difficult home life, his music reflects struggles with belonging, addiction, and identity. His debut album Samen Alleen and EP Het Is Maar Een Droom explored these themes, but his latest project, ANDERS, dives deeper into the origins of his story. A concept album about the bi-cultural experience, ANDERS traces Massi’s journey from pain to empowerment, celebrating his strength in being different. Combining raw hip-hop roots with synths, strings, and pop melodies, the album is an honest, emotional ride through hope, self-discovery, and breaking generational trauma. After a successful release party for ANDERS at 013, Massi is ready to return with this new sound, fully embracing his evolution as an artist.
